I had the tip over switch go out on my dual head burner and Brian M. at Mr. Heater was great at helping me troubleshoot the problem and even took care of the part for me. It's not often we find great service these days however the technician made this a fantastic experience and I will always by their products due to the level of service!!!!!
I have read all of the great reviews from everyone, but sadly I have not had the same experience. I have messaged them twice about my heater that won’t light and have not gotten any response. This heater was new 6 months ago and the first time I needed it, last week, it would not light. It still has the instruction tag attached to it. I really thought they would stand behind their product.
Best customer service anywhere. I couldn't be happier with the effort and timeliness of their responses and actions taken.
I purchased a $400 heater that didn't even work for 24 hours before it crapped out. I tried to take it back to the store but was told that wasn't an option and that I had to phone the number on the box. Well that was a complete waste of my time. I was told it has 1 year warranty but was then told because I am in Canada that I'm responsible for paying an electrician to look at and fix the machine as they won't send replacement parts to Canada. I received a faulty product. Customer service sent me to a repair shop about 40 minutes from where I live. Their repair shop told me that it could not be repaired there and that I have to go pick the unit back up and mail it back to the manufacturer to get the unit that I should have had in the first place. We'll see if the new one works. UPDATE - A Mr. Heater rep. addressed my issue above and sent me a new heater next day.
