My family moved in February 2022, the apartment was disgusting, never cleaned, mold in the toliet that took 2 months to even replace. When we signed our lease we liked that it had a no marijuana addendum. However for the year and a half we lived there our neighbors were constantly smoking marijuana to the point it was affecting mine and my husband's health. I resided in a Greystar property from 2020-2021, and I was a responsible tenant that maintained a clean apartment and paid rent on time. Ahead of moving out, I requested a walk through with property staff in writing and never received a response. Since I thought the unit was in good shape, I didn't press any further and moved out. Novel Atherton’s tag line should be “best lip-service by the most incompetent staff you’ll ever meet”. This joke of a complex is just that; a joke. You’ll end up paying a big LUX price for a mediocre, at BEST, experience. The only thing arguably worth the steep price tag is the location. It has been roughly 4 months I was asked to issue a roughly 2k holding deposit for an application. I did not move my daughter into the apartment and they still have yet to reimburse me my money! No one answers calls nor responds to voicemails at this establishment. I want my money back! This is a scam to rip hard working citizens off! Do not apply to these apartments!
Management of our complex (city gate apartment in Denver) by grey star has been atrocious. We have lost thousands of dollars at this point to stollen packages, car break-ins, towings that don’t meet state compliance laws with unclear parking signage, and pet medical and hotel bills from the month we were without AC last year in June-July. Good day to all it may concern, I am a resident at Avant and my vehicle was towed without notice or reason. I came home to find my vehicle missing, only to learn that the manager of the complex had it towed yet he never notified me of an issue or concern regarding my vehicle. I resided at an apartment in Arlington, VA, owned by Greystar Management. Both leasing office and Greystar management have violated my lease as well as Virginia to not have provided the security deposit and pro-rated rent prior to my 45-day move-out. According to Virginia law, landlords must provide the check within 45 days after tenant move-out. Failed at every level. Failed to maintain hot water, electric, applances, elevators, and the proptery. Management was absymal and lacked any and all empathy to their team's in ablilty to fix or do anything correct.
