The doctors are fantastic! Some of the best I've had the pleasure of seeing as an adult in New York. But, from my experience, some of the staff that handle the appointment bookings sound completely miserable, especially those in dermatology. Bedside manners go a long way for me, so, it's a shame the booking staff in this department lack this.

I been here for over a week and a half the care was amazing in the first week that I'm here then it started to go down hill on my second week it has been very bad most of all the nurse are great like angels the women but I had some bad nurses that do not listen and don't help but the good nurses would do anything to help you feel like home and very comfortable to help with your pain but the doctors are okay but they don't always understand what's happening and don't really. Listen some of the doctors also if you are on pain ... read more

So far, giving this place 3 stars is a stretch. I mean, no one's dead but the communication between staff is ridiculous. It's been 3 hours since an anti-nausea med was ordered but the nurse keeps coming in and asking if she still wants it...Well, yes, because now she's vomiting! A series of doctors have come in but no one seems to have read the chart or talked about the case. They just pay lip service to having an awareness of the rarity of her symptoms and ask the same questions all over again. We had to wait for them to "c... read more

I was in Cardiology 1190 Fifth AV entrance... nurses & Doctor = Excellent But the 3 front desk female receptionists were making Mount Sinai look bad... they were not nice not kind and talking to us patients with an attitude and face that's tough. A smile would have been nice and kind.

Last summer (August 2016) I had to take my wife to the ER at Mount Sinai Beth Israel because she was having chest pain (she had been under a lot of stress after one of our sons sadly and suddenly passed away). For the past year we have been trying to get our health insurance company to pay for that visit (we live in Mexico), but to no avail. This summer we went to visit our son’s family and decided to go to the hospital to see if anyone could help us in person. The insurance company needed a specific diagnosis to review our ... read more
