I went to emergency room last year, trying to find out about a check I sent, got on phone they put me in a rabbit trail.
RecommendedMy son just had surgery last week for his seizures. Dr. Ghatan and dr fields were the best!! Bed side manner and all! He has had seizure EVERYDAY for 15 yrs and he has had none since they helped him! EVERYONE at this hospital was fantastic friendly caring from the ICU to the OPERATINg room staff , anesthesiologist etc. I highly recommend this hospital👍🏻

I had the opportunity to be a patient at mount Sinai this last week I was treated with the best care I was on 10east room303 I want to thank Nieva Masaoay,Sherry Catanghal,Sean Virgo Jana Pierre. Their care was top notch they were professional,courteous and caring.Also Krystlelyn Carrasco was a god send helping me when I couldn’t lift up my head. had the worst experience at the ER.... they sent you between places and never able to fix your problems.
They sent my mom to the wrong hospital but they won’t admit it. She was supposed to be taken to the Mount Sinai on 59th because that’s where her neurosurgeon is, but supposedly he was working at 98th street. It since 2:30pm we still haven’t seen him.
This is the worst hospital on so many levels! I need to find out where and to whom I can file several formal complaints! Shame on this place!
3/22/18 The staff members at both an affiliated diabetic clinic here on Staten Island and a cardiology clinic on the island as well are so fucking RUDE ! I was reminded twice as to how many appts. I missed, etc!!!! Stay away, Don't even bother with Mt. Sinai Hospital or any of their affiliated clinics; go elsewhere for your health needs !
