Had to sit in the ER from 5pm until nearly 4am just to read a CT Scan and an X-ray Nobody came to check on my wife or inform us if anything not even at shift change
Mount Sinai is a great hospital. The staff on 6 west is phenomenal. They go above and beyond for there patients.
I thought the whole staff was professional from the time of my arrival, They make you feel comfortable and talked me through the whole procedure with full details, I had heard about Mt. Sinai from other folks but finally learned the truth for myself, Then today Friday July 21st i received a phone call from them checking up on my recovery and was very impressed!!
Was only told after we drove over an hour and waiting for almost two that our insurance wouldn't cover the visit. Why call and schedule the appointment in the first place? Unprofessional.
Have always had excellent care! Dr. always listen to your concerns. Husband has ben treated with radiation for cancer. He continues to be followed with the same Doctors for the past four years. So hopefully after next year, he will be considered cured. Doctors were very helpful from day one, they got us into The Hope Lodge so we could stay in New Year City for 6 weeks for free. He needed to stay for the radiation treatment, and we lived 100 miles from New York City, cannot say enough about Mount Sinai.
No complaints! Friendly staff and excellent care ... they took great care of me
The staff was excellent, they made me and ny family feel as relaxed as possible. They kept my family updated and took great care of me. My Drs were top notch even the anesthesiologist with his sense of humor made me happy to be unconscious, Lol he was great to.

One thing that was going in my favor was I was done in over two hrs.The nurse who drew my blood was excellent.(Chris) The Nurse who did my medical history was horrible. I hope they hired him for his nursing skills and not his typing skills. My regular Doctor wasn't available (busy). The covering Dr was terrible. I couldn't understand her. Her bedside manner was none. I listed two issues on my paperwork that I wanted to speak to The doctor about. She looked over the paperwork and n... read more
