RecommendedFriendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Got a question? If they don't know the answer, they will find it! Repair staff are top notch! I have been going to Montavilla for my sewing needs for over thirty years. Every sewing machine I have owned ( ooo lots!) I have purchased there.Good classes with knowledgable teachers. My first and only recommendation to anyone that wants to buy a first machine or upgrade.

RecommendedUnique destination for anyone who is serious about sewing. The only true Portland area based retailer for all the lovely toys that make sewing and machine embroidery fun!
RecommendedEveryone who works there is always willing to help me with anything that I need help with. I love their layaway plan, which enables me to take advantage of sale prices on any machine that I want to purchase. The Thursday morning open sewing class at the Gresham store is another benefit available to anyone who needs expert assistance with a sewing project. Their instructor for the class is Margaret and she is amazing!
RecommendedI’ve been a customer for thirty years or more, because I always get excellent service, and can work with skilled and friendly employees who really know their machines. This is a family owned store and they have high values of customer satisfaction that show in the classes and support they offer, and their terrific service department. I’d recommend them without reservation.
