This is such a wonderful hospital! The atmosphere and caring professionals make the very best of whatever situation brings you to the hospital. Our last visit was just as impressive as our one 15 years ago. Thank you for outstanding service and helping children cope in an atmosphere that makes them comfortable. Bravo!
My 16 month old baby girl, who was 8 weeks premature, had an unknown sickness two months after birth and was sent to Monroe Carell where she had the best care! The Angel Bus staff were absolutely amazing. We have since been back for appointments and yesterday minor eye surgery! I couldn't have asked for a better hospital staff. They are so kind and genuinely happy all the time. My child who goes to no one but family takes to their staff so well. What a great hospital.
No one wants a sick child or a child that needs surgery however ,if you have a child that needs any medical attention this is the only place you want them. My eight-month-old grandson needed some surgery . They handled him beautifully ,they were kind to us and it was very successful We appreciate them so much. I have been a registered nurse for nearly 40 years and have worked in many different hospitals in many different cities so I can tell you this is one of the best
My daughter was at Vanderbilt children's hospital yesterday to have her tonsils removed and everyone that we enteracted with was amazing! Everyone that had anything to do with her care spoke with us. We were greatly pleased!
Top notch! After going to my 4 month olds doctor and another ER here in Kentucky where we live for his ongoing bout of diarrhea, we chose to drive down here when they both did nothing and he started pooping blood! The ER took us right back (the other one made us wait for hours in the waiting room). After assessing him, they decided it was not normal for a 4 month old to go this long and admitted him. It had Great Doctors and the atmosphere was awesome for my little grand daughter to enjoy going back too and be excited about it when she goes she loved it ..very Child friendly
From the nurse, Carolyn, in the ER to the 6th Floor nurse, Tops, and all of the doctors and other staff we saw our experience, as always, was great! My sweet boy received great care and my mother and I were taken care of as well. Everyone listened to what I had to say and didn't just dismiss my concerns. Thank you for the amazing care!
All of the doctors and nurses were really nice and knowledgeable the only thing I didn't like was after they pulled the IV out of my son's hand and put a bandaid on it I had asked for them to wrap his hand up or something but they did not have anything to use to wrap it so the Band-Aid didn't really stay but overall the visit there was great
Love vandy my son has a few specialists so weve been coming for years and they are always so great with him sometimes we have to wait way too long but the drs are are wonderful. My son broke his arm Jan.3 and was transported to vandy to have surgery we stayed overnight all the nurses were great. We went last friday for a visit with the ortho they noticed his birthday was the next day and gave him a gift he thought thay was just awesome. Thank you for awesome care .
