I and my adopted medical fragile son live in Chattanooga Tn. I asked to get a second opinion about mesh that had been used on Seth during a surgery at Erlanger. The mesh migrated into Seth's esophagus and stomach lining, causing many problems for him. Vanderbilt went down his throat and saw the mesh and erosion it caused in his esophagus and said the mesh could not be removed, but it had to come out. Everyone is so genuine and caring. Truly feel at ease when we are Vanderbilt. Words can't express my gratitude to everyone and their exceptional care given.
Our granddaughter received compassionate and professional care. The staff were very kind and explained everything to her. We were very pleased with almost all of the treatment she received. One incident in the ER was not what we would have liked but there was just one incident.
it's a excellent hospital has took care of my son's and now my grandson so thankful we have it so close ....the doctor's are GREAT!!!
Doctors talked positive with my visit for my daughter.... after the operation they was really telling the truth... they did a very good job thanks to the surgeon team.
Such a blessing to have an amazing hospital with such great doctors and nurses to care for children!

The doctor was great!!! However the tech or assistant was not at all. She was rude and needs to learn how to talk to grown people! However my son loves his doctor here that's what keeps us coming back
