The nurse practioner barbara duffey is absolutely fantastic! My grand daughter has been an endocrinology patient since she was 6 months old and i could not ask for any better care .
My son has orthopedic surgery last week. The nurses were awful, with the exception of one. Night nurse came in (yes, we counted) five times within 1.5 hours for things that all could have been done with one trip. Our last day, only two days post op, he had to wait over 30 minutes for pain medication while the nurse sat at the station and chatted with another coworker. The nicu is amazing. The nurses have been so helpful! My son has improved so much in just two days of being here!
The staff at the hospital were amazing. They treated my son as if he was one of their own. My 1 year old loved that he could play around the unit we were on without being confined to his room. Special thanks to Valerie in PACU for playing with our son while we waited for him to go back for his procedure. She had him laughing and comfortable enough to go back without any problems when it was time for his procedure. Had my precious miracle at 30 weeks. She's currently still in the NICU but she's had wonderful nurses, doctors, etc. thank you guys for all you do!
There is no other hospital I would ever consider for children surgeries.
Came there for the first time yesterday to bring my 10 year old daughter to the Neurologist.My daughter is high functioning Autistic.Iwas sick so I brought my Mom and husband with me so they could talk with the Dr.I had most of the info written down.We traveled 2 1/2 hours in horrible weather to get there and was 10 minutes late.We called to let them know too.When the Dr finally came in that we had never met, she proceeded to say the next time try to be on time.10 minutes late!
