I love the staff, they try to help u in any way. If u need diapers for when ur there or wipes, sippy cup, if they have it they'll let you have it.
My daughter has been a patient there for 7 years and we have not had a bad experience yet. We receive excellent care and the facility is well maintained. VCH is awesome!
This is during our cross-country vacation my two-year-old decided to jump on the bed in the hotel and fell and cracked his head open. it ended up requiring three stitches and the staff was wonderful. I was a nervous wreck, but they're cool calm and collected attitude calmed me down. They talked to him throughout the entire procedure so that he would not get scared. For my first time having to get stitches for any of my children I'm happy it was here at such a great children's emergency room
My sons , age 3 & 8, had their tonsils and adenoids taken out Wednesday July 26,2017. The doctors, nurses and all the staff gave them the best care. They were very patient and attentive to their needs and wants. I'd recommend Vanderbilt to everyone. They took excellent care of my boys!! ��
The entire staff on my daughter's floor was helpful and courteous. They were very patient with us during my daughter's recovery.
My 6 month old had surgery there yesterday. The docs an staff was absolutely amazing w him an me beings I was so nervous!! Thank U all for the compassion an support y'all showed us yesterday!!
After being at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston for a year and a half and getting no results, just medications on top of medications, I moved back home to Tennessee and brought my daughter to Vanderbilt. She has Rasmussen Encephalitis and Epilepsy and within 6 months Vanderbilt has done more for her than Texas Children's Hospital ever did in the year and a half she was there. I literally asked to leave and to be discharged so the nurses would stop traumatizing my daughter. I wouldn't take my dog here. Worst bedside manner I've ever seen! WORST. EVER. You couldn't pay me to go back. Make sure whoever is working on your child is not training...
