There are different systems, to cover the needs of its' clients; a contract isn't required plus a discount is given if the plan is paid for by the year. May you never have to use it, but if you do need assistance, firemen will be at your door in minutes.

I am glad help is available to my Mother without a phone at home or a cell phone. My 7 siblings and I have peace of mind knowing that Mom has helpful neighbors that look in on her during the day and Mobile Help at night if an emergency arrises. She can get help 24/7 ! I have been overwhelmingly impressed by MobileHelp. I have talked with customer service a couple of times in getting everything set up, and they have been helpful and friendly. We have tested the emergency button and the fall detector, and each time got a call from the dispatcher as expected. I was surprised to find in the box a "real estate" type lock to hold the key for an apartment or home, so MobileHelp can give the combination to emergency response people won't have to break down the door. Very impressed with this company. Responded quickly when I requested information and readily allowed me to take my time to review the offer and make additional inquiries but went back to Mobil Help. They sent the equipment (sent very quickly) and then they called and walked me thru each piece of equipment and tested each piece.
