My A/C went down last evening when I got home and after calling the A/C company first on the list of my landlord and having them tell me they couldn't come last night, but to call back today, I suffered through an 87+ degree evening. Today I called them back and they couldn't come out until MONDAY! So, my landlord gave me the number for Midway Services and they scheduled someone today and they were at my house in two hours!!! This company likes to punch hard working people in the gut and kick them when there down. Was quoted over $1200.00 for blower motor and compacetor. Had the work done this morning for $260.00.
I've been in my home over 25 years...never had a problem with electrical until Mid-Way came to my home. Their "Free Estimate" was just to get into my home..then when I asked the technician what the problem would or might be..he said for me to tell you would be $199.99 for the service call and diagnosis...Not only was I humiliated by this fellow...I wanted to punch him in the throat when he said $480. to drive a rod into my patio slab. I would NEVER recommend this company to any of my friends or family! :(
very expensive. cost $400 to install 3 lights under the kitchen cabinets. they were the exact same fixtures, just taking the old ones down and wire up the new. 2 hours.
The job quality was average but the time it took and cost is insane. Took twice as long as said originally. Some days worker only on site for a few hrs. then nothing the next day. Tried to blame us because we had to look for tile because the one we like (brought to us by them) was discontinued. The area was a 8x10 bathroom it took almost thee weeks to redo.
This company charged my in laws $480 to change a hose bib?! The part is less than $25, the labor is as simple as turn off water, unscrew old hose bib, Teflon tape the new one, screw it in and turn water back on. 10 minute job. What a Jack Job! My error the reciept says they did one for FREE!? So that's two spigot changes for $480, seems about right...NOT! We just returned to our condo and needed some plumbing jobs completed. Midway Services and Terrance C, the technician, responded quickly and fixed the problem areas efficiently. The people who scheduled the appointment and Terrance were very friendly and knowledgeable. I have used Midway before for a problem with HVAC. Good job.
I have been at my address for two months and only just received my first bill... for only 16 days? to add to the frustration I am being charges a 'billing fee'? how else are you going to notify me of charges, and aside from that, who else charges a 'billing fee'? your online registration is pretty poor as well; usually the email generated when you input information is in your inbox within a few minutes. not yours.
