From start to finish Alliance Residential Management did not uphold ethical business operations. In September 2017, I relocated from California fo Southern California and due to a short notice my options were limited. I found the San Cierra Apartments online and contacted the leasing office. After I agreed to the rent, I submitted my personal information for a criminal background and credit check. I was told I was approved with a $250 security deposit which makes sense given that my credit is good enough to qualify for a mor... read more

Business response:

We are very sorry to hear that you had anything less than an excellent experience with Alliance. We strive to be sure all residents have exceptional experiences with our Associates and Communities throughout the entire leasing process and hate to hear we fell short. We will take your experience and escalate it to the Customer Care Department so they can look into it and make appropriate changes based on it.

We weren't even through the lease agreement with their property in South Salt Lake City, The Zeller, before we realized they were shady. They misquoted the base rent and we only realized the error upon receiving our lease agreement. When we brought the issue to their attention they tried to push the blame on us while simultaneously blaming their newly trained staff member. They would not take responsibility as a company. They said they would offer us one month of parking for one car ($50). We are walking away. Hoping we can ... read more

I recommend NOT renting here. I had a move-out walk-through appointment and when I showed up, management met me outside and said they had already done the walk-through. When I asked what they found, they said everything looked great and the apartment was very clean. That was the last I heard from The Monterra staff. Two weeks after I moved out, I randomly decided to log into my account and there is an overdue charge of $200+. I never received a bill or any notification of this charge. I called the managment office and left a... read more

Don't rent from these scumbags. They will squeeze every last penny out of you and illegally charge you for damages. The apartment wasn't even clean when I moved in but I am sure they charged the previous tenants for cleaning as that seems to be a common theme.

The apartment itself looks great. However, when maintenance issues arise they are handled very poorly. I moved in December of last year and had heating issues. Our unit would run for hours and it would not warm up a single degree. Due to Vegas winters being mild, we were able to suffer through it with copious amounts of blankets. Now, summer is rolling through and I am having cooling issues. I placed a work order a month ago and have been placing numerous work orders ever since. Every time I submit a work order; someone from... read more

Beware of renting any properties this company manages or owns. Your final bill will always have a charge that they will not explain, They claim it to be damages when with 100% certainty there was no damage to a brand new apartment, the final walk through the office had verified the apartment was as new as it was when we moved in .They will extort you by telling you to either pay it or be taken to collection . They will not answer there phone knowing they have to face angry customers they are ripping off --

I lived here for 4 years while in school due to the convenience of the location and the affordable rent. Overall, I had a positive experience while I lived there, but a recent frustrating event has compelled me to write this, hoping to warn future residents. I moved out in July 2017, and left a forwarding address to my new place of residence. I was told I had no remaining balances with the apartment complex. Without ever being contacted by Broadstone, the apartment complex filed a claim with Sure Deposit in October 2017 (4 m... read more

I live at Tradition at Kierland. Alliance took over management of this property late last year. My lease is up at the end of May, however, due to health problems, I have asked to be released one month early so that I can move into complex where my son lives so he can be of assistance to me when it is required. I will be 83 years old soon. I have offered to pay the rent for the last month of May but want to be able to vacate at the end of April. Therefore shutting off the utilities and ending the insurance coverage. Of course... read more

BEWARE! AVOID AT ALL COST! Apartments are uninhabitable! Carpets emit a sickening moldy odor, and the kitchen drain produces a nauseating stench. I am currently in the process of consulting a lawyer to sue for breach of Health and Safety requirements. In spite of multiple complaints over several weeks, management is only willing to expose the carpets to ozone gas, instead of replacing them, even though the Environmental Protection Agency's website warns against the use of ozone gas for these purposes. Your health is in jeopa... read more
