When I moved out of Creekview Apartments in Midvale, UT, the apartment was thoroughly cleaned. I left owing no rent, but they were keeping my security deposit for months. I finally received a partial refund of the deposit with no reason why it was not returned in full. The Alliance Residential Company should not have retained any of my security deposit without giving me any notice of deductions. Was it a fraud or just unfair business practices or miscommunication, I still don't know. If possible, avoid this company.

Business response:

Hello *******, Sorry to hear about your experience. Other than your final utilities - trash ,water, service fee ( Bear in mind, utilities are usually back-billed, that is why you do not immediately pay utilities when you first move in) , the only other charges were normal cleaning for $ 45 and general house cleaning $65. These are all explained on your move out statement, which you can review any time on the resident portal. If you would like the move-out statement to be resent to you ,please contact ************************... read more

I moved out of Waterford Lonetree apartment 51212 on Nov 1. The house was cleaned and it was in good shape. I received a letter today to pay $1087. I called the phone number given in my email and it says that number does not exist. I went to the leasing office and asked how did they arrive at this number? Can you please give me some detail about charging so much for leaving the apartment? The manager said she has no idea about this and customer care from Arizona can answer my question. This is complete nonsense and full of l... read more

Business response:

Hello ********, So, sorry to hear about your experience. If this has not been resolved ,please know that to be able to view the documents online (Summary of charges, move-out statement, pictures, invoices, etc ) ,you have to click on "Pay now" and then you will see the option to view documents. Clicking pay now does not mean you are going to immediately pay, but it also leads you to viewing your move-out statement and other documents. You can also email ************************* and a representative will contact you and go o... read more

This company is very frustrating. The lease clearly requires all vehicles to be registered and have current license plates, which is obviously intended to prevent residents from using the complex as a storage unit for multiple vehicles, and yet that is exactly what has gone on for 6 months. One of the residents works for a car dealership and regularly parks 3, 4, or 5 vehicles in the overflow parking with dealer plates or no plates at all. Moreover, some of these vehicles are parked for 2-3 weeks at a time without moving. Th... read more

Business response:

Hello ******Thank you for sharing your concern and experience. In general, parking is not an issue in this community as every resident has a garage that comes with their home. In addition, all residents get one guest pass and a parking pass for each resident living in the home. This does not mean the "car dealer" issue is being ignored. Local management is aware and have spoken to the resident.

rusted microwave and dirty carpet. Over charging after I moved out. charged me 100 for 'carpet' cleaning - I moved in carpet was very dirty. I cleaned it myself. Left it very clean upon move out. a $100 was taken from my deposit. rusts inside of microwave - was told a new one is on 'back order' never received it.

As a management company they are doing little in regards to ensuring that the people who are at the properties are actually qualified to work there. If you come across their Bristol Heights property in Austin, Texas do yourself a favor and run. Not only will you face a lack of parking however, the staff themselves will be horrendous. it has gone as far as staff members showing up to my door and harassing and antagonizing me. While the staffs attitude has been brought to the attention of the property manager. Nothing was done... read more

This resident parked in another resident's reserved spot and the resident whose spot was taken called a tow company to come out and tow the car.One of our employees knowing that a tow company had been called, went to the Ms Watson's apartment out of courtesy and politely requested that she moves her car from the reserved spot. Ms Watson was not happy about the employee going to her apartment. The intention of the employee was to simply help Ms Watson so that if the tow company showed up,the employee would tell them that the i... read more

This is a horrible company with a culture of treating residents as if you are beneath them. They discriminate and they allow the management teams at their properties to look down on residents as if they are doing you favor to allow you to live at their property. Their properties by the way are The Lofts Perimeter Center, The Heights Perimeter Center and The Drexel. If you are in Atlanta don’t live at any of those places.

Business response:

Hello, Sorry to hear about your experience. We have not found anyone in our system, matching your name, however if you have lived or still live in any of our communities, please contact our resident care department at , residentcare@allresco.com and our customer care representatives would be more than happy to follow up and address your concerns. Make sure to include your last name, community name and apartment home number.Thank you very much.

I lived at this apartment since 2014. At the time I moved in there was another manager and he was a great manager. My problem started when management change in July of 2016. The management service was unprofessional. This place has is infested with bugs and mice. People move in and move right out the few months. The rent is so high and the apartment manager do not communicate. The elevator and the hall way smell bad. There a hot water problem. When they fill the pool the apartment do not have hot water. I had to move from on... read more

I lived at Varsity Berkeley (2024 Durant Avenue, Berkeley, CA), managed by Alliance Residential LLC. While the apartment itself was not bad, the managers (Melvin and Donna) sometimes fraudulently misrepresent the condition of the apartment and charges fees in fraudulent ways that are definitely not stated the lease agreement and probably in violation of California Law. Examples: 1) The owner chargers $30/month for WiFi that never worked in the apartment or common areas, (giving us a defective router and/or network configurat... read more

We should have immediately found a different rental company when the lease showed a completely different rate than what was listed on the application for the same unit. They only decided to honor the rate when they learned that we had a screenshot of the application rate. I took a screenshot because we had the exact same issue at one of their other properties in Salt Lake City and unfortunately I couldn't show proof. They say it's an issue with their system but after dealing with them and having the same issue twice I'm incl... read more

Business response:

Hello Mr.Nelson, We are appreciate you reaching and are sad to hear that you are not having a positive experience. Your move out date was extended and your ledger updated by the manager before you even put in this review. We are having a hard time understanding your issue as we thought we gave you exactly what you requested. Thank you for your residency and we wish you the very best.
