Dr. Berend was very personable as well as very professional in explaining and evaluating the information from x-rays on my knees. He explained that inserts in my shoes along with a pain medication was all that was necessary at this time. That was a great relief.
He is the absolute best without a doubt Orthopedic Surgeon for total knee replacement. I recommend him without reservation
I had both knees replaced by Dr. Berend. My experience could not have been better. I had complete trust in Dr. Berend and his whole team. I found them all helpful, compassionate and kind. I would recommend them 100 % .
Dr. Berend performed 3 replacements (2 knees and a hip)for me, in 2013. The surgery and recovery went perfectly. My life has been changed because of them. I am living a pain free life in those joints and able to do things I couldn't before the surgeries. I recommend him to everyone who is contemplating replacements.
Dr Berend and his team are awesome. From start to finish I felt like I was not just a patient but a priority. I know everyone says they went to the best but I have had other surgeries and did not feel the engagement that this complete team showed me. Thanks
Fantastic success on TKA in an Out Patient Hospital. Four hours after arrival for a TKA, I left walking out with my walker and a month out I was barely using a cane. Pain management was awesome and I worked at reducing the needs for relievers within a week and a half. Recovery was phenomenal and I followed the instructions given me at home. Have had 2 knee replacements by Dr. Brand and have great success.
Partial right knee replacement. Dr. Berend is a compassionate and gifted surgeon. I could not be more pleased with my experience with him and his entire staff. My knee is now fully functional and completely pain free.
I have had my left knee fully replaced and my right knee partially replaced by Dr. Berend and have nothing but praise for him. I've had no problems with either one of my surgeries and recovery was quicker than I expected. I did my physical therapy at home and followed the exercises as per their instructions and had no problems. I cannot say enough good about this group they are A-1 +++++ with me!
