I had the privilege of having Dr. Berend do my Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right hand 18 years ago. He was so awesome. I was a unit secretary in an ER when I first met him. I needed surgery and he agreed to be the one to do it. I have to say that I have never had a problem with Carpal Tunnel syndrome in my right hand since. I would highly recommend him to everyone I know. He listens to your concerns and explains everything in detail.
Dr. Berend and his entire Team are fantastic. Their dedication to their patients is absolutely outstanding. I have and will continue to refer my family and friends to Dr. Berend for their Orthopedic surgical needs.

Amazing experience during my knee replacement. Total confidence in Dr. Berend. I could not have been happier.
I had knee pain for several years but due to my younger age and active lifestyle I put off having any surgical treatment. Once injections stopped working I knew that surgery was my only choice. Dr. Berend told me I only needed a partial knee replacement and that he thought I was a great candidate. On 2-23-17 I had a partial knee replacement and was home within 4 hours of surgery. My recovery has been very smooth and I am walking without pain or a limp. Dr. Berend and his staff are excellent
Dr. Berend and his staff provide excellent care - professional, compassionate people. I asked my referring physician to recommend the best surgeon to examine and ultimately perform my knee replacements. He did just that. Dr. Berend is certainly the best in Indiana.
Dr Berend has done replacement surgery on my right hip and both knees. The skill and training that he and his staff have is the reason why all 3 recoveries were fast and successful. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone who needs joint replacement.
