The attention to the details that are important to me as a patient was over the top superb by every staff member on his staff ...truly! From the front administrative staff to the medical staff in the back I probably encountered over 12 people taking care of me and my knee. He is the BEST!! I had my Knees replaced in 2017, best thing I ever did for my health. Dr Berend was so kind to my children and myself. If I ever had to replace my knees as long as Dr Berend did it I would go for it without worrying at all. I refer him to anyone that is getting ready to do this.
He was kind and helped me and directed me what I needed.
My knee replacement outcome was great as expected. I am 86 years old and back to my normal activities & playing golf after 12 weeks from surgury.

When I was told I needed a knee replacement, there was zero doubt about who would do it. Dr. Berend performed replacement surgery on other members of my family and seeing their progress was amazing. Dr. Berend explained everything in terminology I could understand and the process of recovery. He showed me the X-rays of my knee and why the surgery was needed.
