First time in a hospital, never had surgery. Everyone I encountered from the folks pushing my bed around to my surgeon were absolutely awesome!! They were kind, concerned, professional, yet fun-loving and very cool!!! The wife had the same experience with everyone she met! So proud to be a veteran and be involved with all these folks!! I know my wife feels the same!!!! Love y'all!
Very efficient. I had a positive encounter. I would recommend all veterans in this area not to waste time being ill when they have a VAMC like this to work with.
if you have an appt in the morning after 10 you will drive around for awhile looking for parking unless you pay to park in the garage across from Jackson. Ortho appt times are just a rough guide. yesterday my appt with ortho was at 11 i had to see primary care first. did not know how long it would so i was there @ 9. finished with primary then checked in @ 933 for an 11am appt. i wasnt called back until 1230 and still felt rushed out of appt. i left and still had unanswered questions.
Very disgusted by their service time, uncleanliness and employees willingness to assist anyone.
I came to Emergency and they took immediate care of me. Once admitted to the hospital I was taken care of by an awesome staff that truly cares. My care was NOT linked to my insurance like MOST hospitals. I would never go to any other hospital if the VA is available 💯💯💯
I have had two appointments at the hospital and both gave me excellent, timely treatment. I feel very confident with the level of care I am receiving through the VA in Miami. I am truly grateful they are there for me.
