In March 2011 "Mi Patria" opened becoming the first and only Ecuadorian restaurant in Des Moines. Owner Cesar Miranda (Ecuadorian) with more than fifteen years of experience in the restaurant business, accomplished his dream by bringing the aromas and flavors of his country to Des Moines. Food was amazing and even though it was slow when we were there the gentleman serving us was dressed well, he was very attentive and polite! Being service industry people we appreciate his hospitality and thats why he deserved his 45% tip. First time here but I'm bringing all my friends back
