In March 2011 "Mi Patria" opened becoming the first and only Ecuadorian restaurant in Des Moines. Owner Cesar Miranda (Ecuadorian) with more than fifteen years of experience in the restaurant business, accomplished his dream by bringing the aromas and flavors of his country to Des Moines. They have the best food!! Love the ceviche, pulled pork..all of it!!!
The food was wonderful. It was a prime opportunity to try new things. We recommend the yuca appetizers and the pulled pork very highly. The service was excellent and informative. The decor and atmosphere was fresh, and it was spiffy clean. I Don't get to DM very often but I'll go back to Mi Patria as often as I can!
