In March 2011 "Mi Patria" opened becoming the first and only Ecuadorian restaurant in Des Moines. Owner Cesar Miranda (Ecuadorian) with more than fifteen years of experience in the restaurant business, accomplished his dream by bringing the aromas and flavors of his country to Des Moines. Incredible food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere! A must visit!
Ate there for the first time today. The food was incredibl. Pulled pork was the best I've ever had anywhere and the fried coconut bananas over ice cream for dessert was to die for! Huge portions (share a meal or plan on taking home 1/2 of it). We plan on going back. Great service, friendly and prompt.
First time here. I will definitely be back. Food tastes amazing!!!
