Aroz' con pollo is our of this world. So so good. Hate that is closed on Sunday as that's when I'm usually in town. LOVE this place.

Anyone I have recommended this place to has become a regular customer. The food is unique to anything else here in the Des Moines area and it's extremely good. Even the rice, which at first looks like ordinary white rice is delicious all in itself. The pulled pork is the best I've ever had and I would definitely recommend the Tallarin De Carne or Pollo. Food was pretty bad. Wait staff were busy talking to each other while guests were waiting.
This place is definitely one of Des Moines's hidden gems. The service is excellent, that atmosphere is cosy/casual, but the food here is the star! I've never been let down by anything on the menu. A must try is the tortilla de verde app. It is TO DIE FOR! I can't go here without getting that! The dinner for two meal is a good choice for the newbies bc you get to sample a big variety of their meats and other offerings. So, so good. The food was very well prepared, generous portion sizes, and friendly service. Family friendly, too
Everything is made to order and no long wait. Fresh/ tasteful/not over spiced. Service is the best. No cheep paper napkins. Real linen.napkins. the smells from kitchen. Wow . Family owner family services. I feel as if I'm at home . Only i dont have to wash dishes.
