I am a tenant at ********************* since mid June 2023. When touring the unit, they had all the windows open. Turns out it was to hide a horrendous cigarette odor from the walls and carpet left by the previous tenant. We did not notice until it was too late and we were locked in the lease. They sent a carpet cleaning service, which left the water black and didn't remove the smell. The carpet cleaner said it would take a few passes to get the smell out. This place will be sued one day guaranteed. Ive never seen a more unethical or unprofessional leasing team. They are used car salesman to get you in and then turn around and treat you HORRIBLY! They are so backwards in their thinking its unreal! Ive never had so many issues anywhere and Ive been renting for many years! Ive never had so many maintenance problems either. MG Properties took over the apartment complex I have lived in for 5 years and have had massive employee turnover with very little care or competence. The biggest issue we have faced as a community is crime including car theft and vandalism. My car along with several of my neighbors have been broken into within the last few weeks and management has done nothing to secure the property like adding security cameras or offering more secure garage parking without a fee. !! AVOID ******* APARTMENTS AND MG PROPERTIES AT ALL COSTS !!They will promise you free weeks if you sign a lease but then try to charge you rent. If I hadnt kept screenshots, they probably wouldve tried to make me pay for the weeks that were supposed to be free. They then tried to charge me late fees for not paying on the month that was supposed to be free. I stayed at *********** for 11 months, but stayed at another place I rented for 8 of the 11 months so I was only there for 3 months. They so tow any guest vehicle during the night and it will cost you $400. There about ten designated guest doors that are always full with residents second vehicle so essentially no guest parking. A number of residents in low income housing, whom I didn't know would ask me for money. Have been living at my apartment in ****** for 4 and a half years, MG took over about a year and a half ago. Since then, it has been no communication between staff and tenants, other than posting a note to the door and expecting compliance with whatever it says. My storage which is on the main property was broken into at least twice since MG took over. I recently had my bank account hacked and two of my rent payments were disputed.
