About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Sauerkraut really sour otherwise excellent presentation and really good tasting sausage & pork cutlets .
We have been disappointed & staff not very friendly. Potato pancakes r not the authentic grated potatoes. Wonder if they bread their own cutlets or brought in pre-made and heated. Spätzle is good and gravy.
As always Metzger's delivers the finest Authentic German food! We always order the platter for two and this time we had the berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream and OH MY GOD IT WAS HEAVENLY!!!!! Thanks for always providing outstanding cuisine! GO BLUE GO METZGER'S!!!!!����
Table for 11 please. We had a great time with the ROMEOS at lunch celebrating yet another Oktoberfest at Metzger's! Thanks for the great service und great food. Oh, R.O.M.E.O. stands for Retired Old Men Eating Out, from Brecon Village, Saline.
Disappointing. Service was terrible. Dinner was for Mom's 85th birthday. When I called to make reservations for 10 and what the occasion was, I was told Mom's dinner was free plus dessert. Not the case when it came bill time. Food was mediocre. We have been going to Metzgers for 30+ years. Just disappointing.
