About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Always great service and great food! Schnitzel is super good with the mushroom sauce.
Yum. We brought our German exchange student there for lunch. He loved it. Said it was better than most German restaurants in Germany. Everything was amazing. Our server Rebecca was awesome!
My husband and I spent our Valentine's Day lunch at Metzgers. Everything from the pumpernickel to the Schnitzel was delicious. And the service was good too. We will be back again.
Good as always. Have the Sauerbraten with Spaetzle, that's pretty good. And I know what I'm talkin' about, as I'm German 🇩🇪🇺🇸
It brought me back to Germany! The food, the service, the food!
Drove from Bowling Green, Ohio just to have an early dinner before the super bowl game ! It was our first time there and what an amazing meal !!!!! We are coming back this Sunday to try something new from the menu and an early Valentines Day dinner. Such a nice drive and a wonderful meal !!!!!!!!!!
