About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Some of the best German food around! The potato salad is not the usual kind everyone makes. It is to die for....yum!!
My husband (whose Mom was from Germany) treated my daughter and me to dinner here. He really enjoyed the authenticity of the foods. Delicious! Atmosphere was great.
This is my must go to restaurant whenever I come home...I just wish they would do the Hasenpfefferon other days if you call ahead to order.
Excellent food and service!!! We are definitely planning on going back!!!
