About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Everything I've tried has been YUMMY! Potatoe pancakes and whatever the dumpling type noodles are, are the best! Found a few new beers I like too!
Tried Metzger's for restaurant week, and it was amazing! We will definitely be going back.
The spatzen seemed pre-made and tasted like chemicals. The waitress's timing was horrible.
Wonderful, fantastic, warm and inviting and that is just through the door. The food is an experience it is beyond wonderful. I can't say enough about Metzger's. I just love it. Takes me right back to Germany every time we go there to have dinner.
Our favorite! Comfortable, always great food, excellent friendly service, it's a fine Ann Arbor tradition. The seafood selections have been superb. Our thanks to the family for keeping Metzger's going!
