About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Nice place with great decor and yummy German food. The beers are good too.
My first was many years ago when I think they were on Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor and they are still one of the best.

Wonderful authentic German restaurant. Great staff also, cannot say enough good things. We drive from Kalamazoo to enjoy this wonderful treat!
