Since you go to park your car the guy in the parking lot seems to be drunk. Then at night they have a lazy 100 pounds redneck with no education asking where are we going and if we had a room there. The way he ask sounds like an FBI wanna be. This hotel is not for kids. At night they have locals all over the place drinking. And if you park in the opossite side of the hotel you need to be careful. The smell of weed in that area was crazy. I went back there and wait till someone were leaving so i can take that spot. For the price I paid it was worth it. Nice size room, access to the beach, beautiful view. Cleaning staff was nice, Sun Deck staff was great! We had our 2yo grandson and he loved the live music and danced. Yes, it can get loud at night but when you close the balcony door it's not that bad. We had no trouble with it keeping our grandson awake. Minor issues with the room but again, for what I paid and direct access to the beach it's worth it. Nice location is about all I can say good about it, to many rules, if you are looking to have fun the Lani Kai is not the place to go

Very nice and accodating. A spring break hang out, the parties get a little crazy during season, but otherwise a good time.
We love it here! WE are in our 50's...Affordable! It's not too fancy, but has everything we need for a great time on the beach. Every room faces the ocean. Go to sleep & wake up to the sounds of the waves! Very close walk to the Square & pier for shopping or eating.. The beach is buzzing with all sorts of people of all ages. We had a great time until the last night. We came to the Lani Kai to celebrate our 20th anniversary. On Saturday night (7/18/15) we were to have a nice dinner at the Island View. We had 1 drink and appetizers then went out on the deck for some fresh night air between courses and when we returned to our seats, we noticed our Olympus SP850 camera was missing.
