Staff is well trained, efficient courteous and caring. I've personally been a patient at Parkridge, Parkridge East. Erlanger and Memorial. My hospital of choice is Memorial.
Absolute best hospital in Chattanooga! My mom has been a patient here several times with heart problems. She has always received excellent, highly skilled care! Top notch!
I purchased a $60.00 pair of fleece-lined moccasin slipper just prior to having cervical and thoracic surgery in Feb 13 and 15. As I was heavily medicated I could not keep track of my new slippers. Upon discharge They were nowhere to be found. When we check with a representative we were told Memorial Hospital was not responsible for missing items. I'd just like to let David Wendt know that I suffer every day from his hack surgery. I refuse to refer to him as a surgeon or cardiologist because he is neither. According to Dr. Fish at Vanderbilt the surgery Wendt "tried " to perform was way over his head and experience. Wendt almost ended my life and left me in 24/7 misery. Thanks for the memories you miserable incompetent Hack!!

I was originally scheduled for a 2pm surgery. They called and moved it up to 10:30am. I got there at approx. 9:30am & was taken back to pre-op where I laid until 5:30pm when they finally took me for surgery, I was scared to begin with but then extremely angry for leaving me in pre-op almost 8 hrs, even my primary doctor said that is unacceptable, and I should complain to the hospital about it. It just seems no one here cares.
Took my mom here for possible gallbladder problems. She was taken back right away but then the problems started.. took 4 hours to see an actual dr, after the dr said she could have nausea meds it took another hour to see a nurse come in to give them to her. Up front staff and LPNs were rude. The only nice person was the registration young lady. Will drive any where else to get my loved one checked out before I go here.
Greatest hospital in Chattanooga with the most caring and skilled nurses in the state. I would recommend it to all people for. The greatest care you can get.
