I have to say, best ER in Jacksonville. I went last night to Memorial Urgent Care after seeing two another Dr in the past two weeks who couldn't tell me my illness and didn't care. The Doctor at memorial knew exactly what was wrong, took his time to explain my illness and treatment. He listened to me and seemed to have empathy for me. Last night was the first night I slept in two weeks.
Last night was the first time I've ever gone to an ER packed to capacity and spent a little less than 2 hours! They heard my complaint and tended to them expeditiously. I thank God for that staff, they were attentive and as a result I'm here today to tell about it. God bless the ER staff from last night!
The ER left my 10 year old son in a room for 4.5 hours when he needed 7 stiches in his knee and charged us $7,579.50. I will never use this hospital again.
Staff was very friendly. The wait time was a little long. My nurse was awesome. Couldn't find a babysitter so my 6month old baby had to come with me. I just wish there was an easier way to travel from main building to expresscare building carrying infants in care seat when the parent is the one with needing emergency care. But overall experience was great. I had great service from staff. I would recommend this ER hospital to family and friends.
I've spent more time at Memorial Hospital then I would like. I have not had a bad experience. The heart center, cardiac ward and cardiac rehab have all been wonderful. If you should need this type of care, I would recommend them.
I brought my life partner in, and the staff was wonderful! We have been in this ER numerous times, as he gets sick quite often! We did have a hiccup this time however! He already had 4 bags of fluid and 1 of antibiotics, and another nurse comes running in and starts an iv in his other arm! Thank goodness his nurse was paying attention, because, he was supposed to be doing that to another patient! He didn't administer the wrong meds, but that situation could have gone horribly wrong! I hate that when I went in for my Pre Op lab work, on 04/07/17 the tech went through my vein on her first try, and hit a nerve on her second, the stick was very painful for me, and I've been having unusual tremors in my arm every since, they gave me a number for risk management, but I haven't heard anything from them, thinking of getting an attorney if my arm continues this action. I'm very sick with my asthma COPD I'm having to be on oxygen please pray for me that I can get sometimes I have a hard time breathing and it's hard for me please pray that God will heal these asthma I can't take his asthma is so hard on me just remember Jesus loves everybody and thank you for your prayers
