I feel a little foolish for not checking out the reviews before even making contact with Megapath for now I am having an issue with them which could of been avoided should I have known this company is this shady and unethical. I requested that I get 10 sip trunks, totaling $20 per line monthly. My account wasn't setup till way after I signed an agreement with them because the agents dragged out the account setup process. Megapath has a lot to learn about customer service and care ONLY about getting in your pocket, and if you don't agree, they will shut your phone off. Theyre the phone mafia. They charged me full retail price for broken phones and would NOT do waive or lowering the price. Pls. feel free to email me anytime at richs@fitnessfactorygym.com for a further explanation. Our company first installed and starting working w/ MegaPath years ago.. going back to the Speakeasy days. We are an IT integrator for the SMB space. To this day we still use MegaPath and resell them to clients of ours. For us this has been a 'set it and forget it' solution which is nice. Solid uptime and clear voice on the system. Too bad there's no negative, one star could not represent my frustration with Megapath. Both of our CA and TX offices us Megapath service for internet and phone. CA office had some problems and been going down for couple time a day when we first hooked up, but at least after we keep calling their services they fixed it. But the TX office did not have that luck. The internet was super slow there, it's not T-1 service speed at all. We tried to upgrade it, and all the horrible experience started there. I had a great experience with Megapath install. I had no phone line so they arranged for the necessary phone line to be installed and scheduled their installer to come afterwards. Their installer was professional and well versed in networking. Everything was working flawlessly before he left and continues to work flawlessly. I'm getting consistently good speeds and have no trouble streaming and gaming. I would use Megapath over Comcast any day.

Don't use this company. - We have a contract with them to provide phone services. During our busy season, we needed to lease a private office space and hire more personnel to answer phones. This was communicated to the sales rep of Megapath and we connected the new lines. Following the end of our busy season, we attempted to cancel ONLY the Additional lines, but they adamantly refused to waive the fees stating that we were "Cancelling a contract" despite the fact that the majority of the office lines were still going to be u... read more
