Depressing, sad and you are just a number to them. Nobody wants to spend money on these vets after they served OUR country!! So wrong and shame on the government!
Love my Boise VAMC and the staff and ALL my fellow Vets. They took care of my dad Lt.H Basil Lewis Jr for over 40 years. My brother P David Lewis and Roland Horn Kenneth McCammon (After a disaster starting out with Esophageal Cancer miss ie Agent Orange exposure in Viet Nam). So I told va dr that I was having trouble splitting 10mg prednisone tablets and asked if I could please have some 5mg tablets. She said of course. This is exactly what was written on pill bottle. "Take one half tablet by mouth every day take with food please dispense 5mg tablets patient not able to split 10mg tablets." The bottle contains 10mg tablets. I am at a loss for words.
The Boise VA Hospital is so clean sand my Uncle Oren is receiving such great care. Thank you.
There is nothing that can be done about the wait times, but when the service was being provided, it was with courtesy, understanding and patience. I appreciate the staff at BVAMC
