I moved to Idaho 5 1/2 years ago from California. Compared to the VA in Martinez, CA Boise VA is a 5 star.
Very Much Improved Leadership--Must care for Veterans. What is the Office of Veterans Experience Officer all about. When does the Boise VAMC Director intend to explain in detail the functions of this Office. So What is now the function of the Employee Advocate Officer--called Employee because he is not the Veterans Advocate Officer. Because Mr Callahan is an absolute failure as the Public Affairs Officer (the disastrous Town Hall attendance) He does not deserve and should not be the Veterans Experience Officer.
Visited this morning for my *annual*. Didn't even have time to start reading before I was called.
Understaffed or underpaid or both? I don't what the hell is going on but it's sad. If u have mental health concerns and can go elsewhere, I would highly suggest it, especially if u need help quick.
