From the very proficicent assistants, nurses, PAs, and doctors in the ER to the wonderfully delightful, caring, attentive ladies of the 5th floor, and the good Dr. Rena, my 2.5 day stay was so much more than I could ever have expected and experienced! Thank you all so very much for your help in diagnosing and treating my illness. It's an experience that I will not soon forget! Many blessings to each and every one of you,

Last week my 5 year old daughter broke her elbow. Ive always disliked north hills hospital, but in the middle of the chaos i couldnt think straight, and north hills is the closest hospital to me. I was quickly reminded of why i hate that hospital so much. First, when we got to the er i had to ask them 3 times for an ice pack. You could tell my daughters arm was broken just by looking at it. Also she was screaming, for an ice pack. I shouldnt have to ask once for an ice pack, ...Continue Reading

I came in for a scheduled radiology procedure at 7:30. They took a blood pregnancy test at 7:50 to ensure I wasn't pregnant and I am sitting here 2 hours later still waiting for my procedure. Forget that I had appointment s scheduled for later today that this is interfering with. They couldn't even use the right vial for a routine blood sample.

I have been to a lot of hospitals for various reasons and with all of the new hospitals popping up all over Dallas/Fort Worth I could have easily chosen to visit one of those facilities. But I chose to go to the North Hills Hospital so my boys can easily help me with things. And I have to say they have one of the best staff I have ever been around. My nurses & tech's have gone above & beyond to make sure my stay is comfortable & they have all treated me like family. This hospital definitely does not get enough credit for the... read more

The whole staff from housekeeping to the nursing staff treated me very well. All were courteous, friendly, and caring. Most of the time the wonderful people get to see us(patients) at not our very best and yet these individuals do their best to take care of us. Thank you North Hills.

My Mother was sent to the ER at North Hills and it was determined that she needed to stay a few days...all those who comprised her care team were polite and caring. I was overall satisfied with her care. The only thing that I wonder about is inservice training relating to caring for Alzheimer's/dementia affected individuals. I know many other caregivers who have said that there is a real need for awareness in this area.

My uncle was here for 3 days with chest pain. They ran all these tests, we had to actually ask for results every time. We saw a "hospitalist" for exactly 3 minutes and were told all the tests were clear and suggested he quit smoking. Three hours later, the nurse discharging him, said don't forget to follow up with your regular Dr about your aortic aneurysm. Really, we were like WTF! Do not go here ever!
