The ER was horrible my son laid on a gurney for over 20 hours with two fractured ankles and when he asked for a blanket and a pillow they told him quote”this was not a hotel” I finally got him a bed two hours before he was discharged but they still want to charge me full price for the ER visit

My Mom had gone to several oncologist and top liver surgeon who said that there's no hope for saving her from the condition she had because she would bleed to death in 4 minutes and surgery would take longer to do. Then she went to Dr.Sharif and he not only successfully saved her life twice, but saved her liver too.. I personally have been to him as well and he won't give up on anything until every problem has been resolved. He truly cares about his patients and their families. I highly recommend Dr.Sharif to everyone like m... read more

Hello I have had the not so pleasurable opportunity to speak with your rude ED nurse Maddie and your PFA Sophie. So since your one and only GI dr that staffs your hospital is “out sick or on vacation “ you tell your pt that there is not anything you can do for them. How appropriate being you sent my father to Longwood for treatment a few days ago.

I brought my husband here August 14th after he flipped his 4 wheeler at mudfest. His shoulder was dislocated. After they did a x-ray they said they could see a broke fragment. They said he need a CT SCAN. He was screaming in excruciating pain and they wouldn't put his shoulder back in place. After hours the nurse came in and told him he needed to put his arm down for the scan he told her he can't it would go down. she called him a wuss tapped his head down and forced his arm down. Finally after 7 hours they put his shoulder ... read more

The compassionate care from all support staff - receptionist to nurse to cleaners - is as important as the excellent medical care.

This is the most ridiculously run hospital. None of the doctors know what the other doctors are doing. Our experience has been nothing but frustration and being told many conflicting things. The nursing staff is great but that's about it. I am about ready to consult my attorney about negligence on this .

I went to the ER a few days ago and ended up having pneumonia. Every. Single. Person. In this ER was so unbelievably sweet and caring I didn’t want to leave. Lol they gave me a blanket without asking, water and Gatorade without asking, asked if I was comfortable several times. Had a constant smile even though it was 1 in the morning and it had been a very busy day. God bless them. I wish I could thank each person individually for caring for me. ❤️❤️

Business response:

Thank you so much for taking the time to share these thoughts and for the positive rating! We will share it with our Portland ER team.

By far one of the worst hospitals in the area. Have a loved one there and not ONE phone call from a physician or anyone to update on plan of care. They’re EXTREMELY rude in person and on the phone. Keep getting the run around when trying to reach administration or ANYONE to speak with. Keep your family away!!! I begged them to take to another hospital but no go. Horrible hospital. Would never send my enemy here

I had to take my 3 year old daughter to the ER for the first time yesterday and could not have had a better experience at Medical City Fort Worth! Amber and Barbi were so kind and caring! Caroline from lab saw we needed an additional hand and stopped in to help without being asked. Dr. Snyder and Alexa the NP were beyond amazing!! They took care of our daughter as she was their own. THANK YOU so much for the top notch, EXCELLENT care received from the entire team! You made this mommas heart rest easy knowing she was in such ... read more
