Get directionsMy grandmother is in your hospital very very ill with COVID and pneumonia. I was told by this hospital that they will not allow visitation to her family, NOT EVEN if she was actively dying!! Please tell me how people are allowed to protest in the street during COVID but we can not support my scared, sick, grandmother?!?

my daughter has been her over 2 months. I have yet had a doctor call me. I can't get any consistent answers except from one nurse. They continued to give her medication she was allergic to after they were informed it was making her feel weird. She went into a psychotic state for almost 9 days. I've called the social worker no return calls. I've been trying for 2 days to get ahold of her nurse to see how she is because she hasn't answered her phone and I've been worried. I hate this hospital

Please beware that you will probably be billed much more after the procedure than originally quoted. Billing Department blames Dr. McCann's office for lack of timely information and not supplying the correct codes, resulting in a $3,500 bill for me. No accountability on their behalf. Beware of this hospital.

My father was having heart problems and we went to the ER in Franklin and immediately they transferred him to Asheville. After spending the night in the ER, he was transferred to the Heart Tower where he had several test done until the doctors found what the problem was. Immediately they attended him and placed a stent where my father's heart had a 95% obstruction. They literally saved my father's life from a problem that was undetected for years. The nurses, the doctors and the general experience was more than excellent. We... read more
Worried about appendicitis I took myself to the out of the way Summerville ER. From the front door to the ER staff to radiology to the O R what a remarkable group of people. I went the extra distance to SMC because my doctors are there, but was hesitant about COVID exposure. Clean sterile environment all the way through the observation unit. So glad I made the choice. Thank you SMC staff and Dr. Warren my Hospital of choice always. Linda
My mother entered into the hospital on July 22 after a bad fall. On July 23, she had emergency brain surgery to remove a subdural hematoma. Somewhere between the 28 and 30 of July, the hospital staff lost her glasses. My mother was very out of it while she was at the hospital so naturally could not be responsible for keeping track of her glasses. We were not allowed to visit because of Covid and therefore didn’t realize her glasses went missing and were switched with another pair until A few weeks later when we were finally ... read more

This preferred provider agreement with air methods led to a 30 minute wait for a critical care patient transfer when there were 4 other closer aircraft including 2 air methods aircraft. One was on its way back to base and the other was intentionally delaying to take a transport for another hospital system.... saving money again eh?
