I am indebted to this hospital. I had a hysterectomy at Henry Ford in Nov 2016. I was experiencing some abnormal bleeding 5 trips to the ER and seeing my doctor and nothing!! Exactly a month later the bleeding had gotten worst soaking pads in 10 minutes!!!! I was rushed to McLaren this time. The staff was great especially my nurse. I was crying because my husband wasn't there and I didnt want to die alone. The nurse did what she could to comfort me. Suddenly I became unresponsive. Hated it!!!!! Went in with passion and lo and behold I left in pain. What good did this place do me... NONE!
The ladies in ICU have been amazing! My dad has been in the ICU since Thursday and is still here. Such a traumatic experience and they have bent over backwards for me and my dad and I appreciate them all so much.
I have been to just about every hospital in Oakland county I have to say that McLaren hospital Pontiac by far has been the best I was in the er twice admitted for 3 days the doctors nurse's and staff have been very kind treated me like I was the only person there I will be going to McLaren doctors and hospital for now on
What I can assume was a new resident tortured my grandma trying to stitch up a large leg laceration instead of swallowing his pride and getting his attending to help him. Her lac is still not entirely closed and may be infected. Also when has it become okay to send registration to get co pays from patients in the ER??? I've never heard of this being an accepted hospital procedure. Other than this terrible experience, the nurses are always amazing whenever I have family here.
