There was ONE thing positive with last night's nightmare.. The nurse � hospital was soo soo messy it needed to be cleaned up from wet muddy boots literally thru the entire emergency room and waiting room.... I am beginning to consider asking my parents if we can take the extra few minutes to go to McClaren Flint from now on... Seems like it was 99%waste of five LONG hrs in er here in lapeer.. Few weeks ago I was visiting my mom at lapeer and noticed the couches in the waiting areas.... Seriously seriously disturbing �
The staff was all very friendly which helped the fact that they were WAY understaffed and the wait time before even getting into a room (2 hours) and then another hour before the ONLY doctor there came in. Another hour and a half went by before I had to hit the call button and ask if they were going to do anything. 6 hours spent there and was not happy. After 2 unsuccessful diagnosis at an urgent care, the Lapeer ER staff took amazing care of me! I can breathe, asthma under control and no pain! Thank you!! :)
Pain management, this good group was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was also very friendly, and informative. I go back again in January for my second round.
We have went to the hospital for years,about 50,.Have had good experiences.We had Dr Reinhardt, DrYap they are the greatest. Our second son was born there.
I came into the ER at 3 am, was taken back immediately, my pain was an 8 (kidney stone), they tried really hard to help me manage my pain, I was admitted and in a room by 6am, Everyone was kind, spent a lot of time with me, I never felt rushed. There was a disorderly woman in the ER at the same time and they were still able to help me. When I was no longer in pain and asked if I could go home they made that happen. It was a good experience and I am glad I went in when I did.
I took my husband in after a mishap with a table saw. It took 30 stitches for the doctor to repair the meat puzzle. We were in and out in less than 2 hours! Kudos to Lapeer Region.
My mom has been in the McLaren Lapeer Regional hospital for about 3 weeks. Most of that time in the Transitional Care Unit and she has had the best care. They have all been great with her. She will be coming home on Saturday September 24th. Thank you to all the nurses and aides and therapists and everyone else that was involved with the care of mother.
I was in the er at McClaren Lapeer Region last night. I received excellent care. ith that being said, I think back to one year ago when my 79 year old cousin started to experience extreme shortness of breath and chest pain when walking. Her O2 stats fell to 82. After we called an ambulance, she was taken to the er at McClaren Lapeer. Dr. Steinacker....(spelling?).... And Dr Ledezma....the er nurses.....saved my cousin's life.....due to her having blood clots in her lungs. She was diagnosed promptly....in surgery promptly....... read more
