The MAT has been an Uptown hotspot for over a decade. In 2009, it was bought by Kidd Kraddick Morning Show co-host Big Al Mack. Come hang with Al at The MAT! Great Food. The KJ on Saturday 10/7 doesn't know how to run a rotation. I went in for 5 1/2 hours and sang once. I'll admit the place was busy but his filler music in between singers is too long .. you have a bar full of singers, you need to keep it moving!! I spent 135 bucks on my tab and I'll never be back.
I went there for lunch had there wings. They were awesome!!! Our waitress/server Chelsea was awesome sweet and very kind!! Also we got to meet Big Al. Didn't take a picture but hopefully can take one next time around!!
I'm a 20 year listener of the show. ❤️ First time there. Wings and burgers were great, drinks off the chart. Big Al himself cleaning up moving tables. We will be back. We even got a wave goodbye from Big Al. 👋

Ok so me and my friend sat down and the waitress asked what we wanted to drink we said Coke and a water then she said ok cool I'm going to need a credit card. I said where not drinking just eating and she said yeah I still need a card. So I told her I'm paying cash and pulled out a hundred dollar bill to give her and she said you can pay cash but I still need a credit card.
