This is the worst company to spend money with! They make up things as they go. They had the audacity to tell me a special order and a custom order, is the exact same thing. All because they did not want to honor a refund for something that I purchased that was not as it was described. Two different sales representatives from the same store, gave me two different answers to questions that I asked. My wife and I have been in the market for a new mattress. We were looking for something that was comfortable enough for my bad back and her neck. We were approached by a salesperson who kept harassing us and trying to up-sale. Disaster of a company with customer service from hell! Over a month ago we paid for a desk, to be delivered and assembled a week later with their "white glove" service. An hour into assembly, the serviceman discovered some of the parts were missing. They left the half assembled desk with parts scattered in my home office assuring us they will be back later the same day to finish the job. I bought a love seat and a couch from Mathis Brothers in September of 2018 and they are La Z Boy couches. I purchased the warranty and have had Mathis Brothers out twice to replace the couches. This last time i had Mathis Brothers out 3 1/2 weeks ago to look at the couches for a third time and i was told by customer service for the last 3 weeks that they are trying to get in touch with La Z Boy to get a refund for my couches. Purchased an item and was never told I couldn't return it or even sign anything to that affect. Tried and was rejected after 8 days

I will never give Mathis Brothers my business. I went into the Ontario location to search for a new couch. As I was searching a store representative informed me that Mathis Brothers did a price match guarantee with other stores and would also double the difference in price. Knowing this I thought well let me check and see if any of the local stores had the same couch. Eugene - We apologize for the confusion on our Double the Difference Guarantee. We have guidelines so we compare apples to apples. We don't guarantee against online stores. As mentioned in our T&C's, the item must be in stock at the brick and mortar location. The online store you're comparing does not have items in stock. They have a showroom and then order from the manufacturer. That is not a similar comparison and less advantageous to customers. Let us know if we can be of any more help.

Last weekend, we went to their Sleep Center to buy a new mattress. Had a great experience there, and thought we should look at a new bedroom set, so we went to the Mathis Brothers store. We found a great set and the real selling point was the TV mount over the dresser. We verified with the Sales guy, John *****, 4 times that it was included in the bedroom set. Mathis Brothers should be embarrassed by their company's complete incompetence. I bought a sectional 2 months ago from the Outlet center, and they delivered it with a rip and 6 pillows missing. Could not get a call back from them for 4 days, so I went down to speak with the store manager. We exchanged the couch for a custom order and waited 4 weeks for it to get processed. Bought a mattress wasn’t made aware there was no sleep warranty or returns , husband has degenerative disc disease he can’t sleep on the bed so we’re stuck with a 2,300.09 mattress we can’t sleep on and they could care less
