Unbelievable! We recently refurbished our living room and bedroom furniture. Because we were able, we decided to go with nicer, customized furniture for the first time in our lives. We built a customized couch and purchased two recliners, picking out the leather cover. All totaled, we spent over $20,000. I would have to recommend everyone to stay away from this company! Read the small print- No Refunds except within 7 days-! Even if the furniture breaks down in a couple of months- even if you buy the extra warranty! Bought a $3,000 set of living room furniture by Ashley and within a couple of months ,set breaking done! This is our first experience with Mathis Brothers Lazy Boy Store on Memorial. My father, son, sister and friends told us Mathis Brothers is the place to buy furniture in OKC so we thought it would be a good experience. NO NO NO! We purchased two recliners. I am totally disgusted with Mathis. We purchased $4K in leather furniture. Assured that the delivery could be after 230pm. I received a call from the delivery people about 11:00 stately that they were 5 minutes from the house. Told them I was assured that the delivery would be after 230pm. They offered to go onto Arkansas and stop back by. Which was fine and appreciated the effort. Unfortunately, there is nothing less than a one star. Purchased a mattress and adjustable bed back at the end of January 2019. Spent over $7700 for both. After the first several days the bed was not comfortable. Went to the store we purchased the bed from, and talked to a salesman different from our salesman. Was told to come back on his next day of work. We did. Our salesman wanted to argue. I asked for the District Manager to call me to discuss. He never did. Extremely upset with Mathis Brothers and will never buy from them again after spending several thousand dollars here. DO NOT buy their furniture protection plan it is as worthless as their customer service. They will not cover a leather sofa and chair that is peeling and discoloring badly basically sold me a crap quality sofa and now they will not cover it. The tech that inspected my furniture wrote discloration in the report they are saying they do not cover discoloring the leather is peeeling off it’s not just discoloring. The contract clearly states peeling cracking is covered. They need to stop trying to get off of covering this and step up and do the right thing.
I purchased a Ashley couch and love seat at Mathis brothers in Ontario, CA in June of 2017, also purchased there furniture protection plan, which is a huge crock, don’t waste your money on this the girl who sold it to me mislead me on what was protected, I have had the set for a year and a half and it’s not holding up, technician came out to my house cuz the plan said it would cover areas of where jeans rub, technician saw all areas and agreed with me on mechanism issues and overall the way the set looks, but got an email th... read more
