My husband had surgery here yesterday and I want to say his nurse Connie was awesome so caring and attenative she rocks🙌
Be very careful when they admit you at Mary Washington hospital. Rather than admit in patient, they will admit you, place you in a room and provide care as an outpatient for observation. They do this because if you appeal a claim, you have waived your rights to appeal by having been admitted out patient even though you are an inpatient. Watch for the forms you are given stating for observation and just say no to signing .
I couldn't believe how amazing this hospital was I was there for 3 days after having a major kidney surgery and they treated me like a queen unlike Spotsylvania Regional who forgot about me and has charged me so much money and refuses to work with me I promise I will die before I ever go back to spotsy Regional but Mary Washington even though it's further away from where I live will be the first place I go
I have never been so impressed with the nurses, doctors and care my husband has received the last two weeks. They are loving and caring and have done everything possible to make my husband comfortable. Thank you all for your care and for saving his life♥️
My daughter was scheduled for a biopsy with conscious sedation to be done in interventional radiology. Got to the hospital an 1 and 30 min early as told to, only to find out they fid not have an anesthesiologist available to sedate her, docotr wanted to do it anyway with anti anxiety medication and when it dodnt work he berated my child and traumatized her further.
The healthcare system as a whole sucks, but Mary Washington puts the icing on the cake, if you are uninsured, you will pay higher prices and if you can't pay in THEIR Timeline they will garnish your wages. If you have a chronic disease please don't ever consider Mary Washington as your go to hospital you will regret every second you spend there as every second is costing you thousands!
