This past weekend, I had to visit the MWH Emergency Department. We were quickly triage and treated. The experience was great.
While the wait at times was atrocious..... I am overall rather happy with my experience. The nurses and doctors I had over my stay were very professional but friendly.
My mother had a double bypass surgery. Staff is amazing. Love her doctor. She is 83 and had what they called sundowning. She was very difficult. VERY. The staff did their best and kept my family in the loop. No other hospital would have been this way.
I agree with earlier comments regarding a majority of the nursing staff. Some tend to be rude, lazy, and incompetent. I prefer Spotsy Hospital where I receive excellent care and the facility is clean
My wife delivered our first child at Mary Washington Hospital (Fredericksburg), and her child-birthing and post-delivery experience was good exspressly because of the care and professionalism of nursing staff.
