I have had nothing but good experiences at VAMC Martinsburg. Everyone is professional and courteous.
the Martinsburg VA discriminates against age, race, gender and economic status in the ER (Dr Jessup) and the nurses, on many occasions made me feel less than human and if you are not an white, geriatric, Male; they treat you like trash and they wonder why veterans are killing themselves. In the domiciliary screening process Tim Koon discriminates in the same way when it comes to the Health Maintenance Program. NO COMPASSION, NO INTEGRITY
My husband had surgery there last month and he got the best treatment of any hospital he has been to! The doctors,nurses,food service workers, and custodians were all friendly, efficient, kind, and made him feel like family I was also treated with kindness and respect. I can't say enough good things about them, keep up the good work, you are the best!!
Best overall treatment for veterans
What an amazing place! Everyone I have interacted with has been very professional and accommodating. The facility is first rate. Special shout out to the Audiology Department. You guys rock!
The E R department I don't recommend. I have been waiting to be seen for four hours and still sitting here waiting. When I questioned about how much longer it's going to be. I was told I'm next but the took about two other patients back that have arrived hours after me and when I said something about it a Male nurse told me to "Feel free to leave"
