I highly recommend Dr. Schultzel. I first saw him almost 2 years ago for a rotator cuff issue and we decided to wait, using physical therapy to see if a non-surgical attempt would work. After it got worse, I had surgery done in August 2020. His knowledge, compassion, suggestions and overall concern were beyond my expectations. He's also a compassionate person who cares about his patients, staff, and others. He did an excellent job on my surgery and my recovery is going very well. He explained each of the issues and discussed... read more

I highly recommend Dr. Mark Schultzel both as a surgeon and as a compassionate individual. He is a very caring, professional and very knowledgeable Doctor. I was referred by my Primary Care Physician and highly recommended by my PT Colin Molton. From my first visit, I immediately felt comfortable with him. He thoroughly explained the surgical procedure of my Right Reverse Shoulder Replacement. Mine was an unusual and complicated case. I truly was a success story and was very pleased with the results. I was back to full mobil... read more

YES ABSOLUTELY - I just had my 1 year surgery exam for a full reverse shoulder replacement performed in Sep. of 2019. By Dec. of 2019 I knew things were working out well with this new shoulder. The pain was completely gone and my PT was processing well. Now - a full year later I am once again able to do things not possible for years due to my degrading shoulder. My range of motion is over 97%! I am surfing again and back to woodworking, backpacking, snow skiing and improving our home. I was even able to set heavy stone venee... read more

I highly recommend Dr. Mark Schultzel both as a surgeon and as a compassionate individual. In October 2019, I fractured my right kneecap and was referred to Dr. Schultzel by my family practitioner. From my first visit, I immediately felt comfortable with him. He thoroughly explained the surgical procedure needed to repair the fracture and the rehabilitation and physical therapy that I would need to regain full movement in my knee. Throughout my interactions with Dr. Schultzel, both during my initial pre- and post-operation o... read more

Dr Schuyltzel was great!! I saw another dr who seemed almost disinterested in me and was not very positive about my outcome of my surgery, Dr Schultzel was caring , honest and most important was able to successful complete the surgery. I cannot recommed him highly enough. If he is your surgeon, you are in great hands.

I had been dealing with elbow pain for months with minimal response to physical therapy and other treatments when I finally saw Dr. Schultzel. He was unflinchingly honest in his assessment of potential treatment options and their efficacy, unfailingly kind in our interactions, and unquestionably dedicated to helping me feel better, often going above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered and my concerns were alleviated. I felt comfortable enough with Dr. Schultzel to go through with arthroscopic surgery on my elb... read more
