My 80y/o mother was referred to Dr. Mark Schultzel for a Rt. Shoulder replacement. My mother met with Dr. Schultzel for the consult for her surgery that was scheduled Oct. 2020. Dr. Schultzel was very attentive to my mother’s concerns and made her feel very comfortable. She felt really good and confident that Dr. Schultzel was the right surgeon for the job. As a 72 year old life long athlete, I've had numerous injuries and have seen several Docs over the years. Dr. Schultzel is one of the absolute BEST. I saw him for my torn rotator cuff and he has helped me return to my active life of surfing and golf. Dr.Schultzel takes time with you, getting to know you, your lifestyle and what your recovery goals are. He and his entire office staff are most professional and I would highly recommend Dr. Schultzel.
I couldn’t be happier to write this review. Dr Shultzel is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He has performed hundreds of surgeries for torn rotator cuffs and will continue to do so. I was referred to Dr. Mark Schultzel after a running episode with my dog that resulted in a fractured fibula. Unable to walk, drive, and ripped from my daily chores of life and motherhood, Dr. Schultzel walked me through every step from injury, to surgery and finally recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Schultzel. I first saw him almost 2 years ago for a rotator cuff issue and we decided to wait, using physical therapy to see if a non-surgical attempt would work. After it got worse, I had surgery done in August 2020. His knowledge, compassion, suggestions and overall concern were beyond my expectations. YES ABSOLUTELY - I just had my 1 year surgery exam for a full reverse shoulder replacement performed in Sep. of 2019. By Dec. of 2019 I knew things were working out well with this new shoulder. The pain was completely gone and my PT was processing well. Now - a full year later I am once again able to do things not possible for years due to my degrading shoulder.
