I experienced back to back carpal tunnel shut-down in both hands. Dr. Schultzel quickly diagnosed my condition. He surgically repaired both hands, 6 weeks apart. I have full recovery in my right hand, and about 80% in by left, and getting better. It has taken several months to recover, and he was very honest about my time frame and chances. His plan and skill were spot-on and I highly recommend him to anyone with hand issues.
Highly, highly recommend! The best aspects that I appreciated about Dr. Schultzel and his practice were his attentiveness, accessibility and ability to communicate through his Ravarra app when needed, his listening ear to my specifics concerns during appointments and his desire to provide the best quality of care to me. Had torn meniscus surgery with Dr Shultzel . Doctor and his entire staff are incredibly professional and organized . From Pre op to Post op . I highly recommend Dr Shultzel for you orthopedic needs .
My elderly friend had fallen and broken her arm in 3 places. She didn’t know where to go or who to see and was in a lot of pain. The hospital referred her to Dr. Schultzel as well as her PCP. Right off the bat, they made a quick connection and he put her at ease instantly. He explained to her that surgery was needed for her elbow and possibly a second for her wrist. He is very professional, caring and humble Doctor
I massively tore most of the tendons in my shoulder working out. No matter how hard I tried I could not raise my arm. Dr. S performed surgery and amazingly replaced the tendons with cords through 3 little holes that you can’t even see now. 7 months later I’m at about 90% movement and 60% strength and I’m back surfing. He’s got the best bedside manner and I could tell he really cared. If you mess up your shoulder do not go to anyone else!!! Dude is a wizard.
He has a great staff. Also, a teaching doctor giving him the ability to explain things in layman terms to me. I feel that this would be an asset to anybody receiving care. My follow up care stood out, easily navigated through his staff. He has a great deal of organization going on in the office that helped me navigate disability insurance. Physical therapy has helped me greatly to return to work
Dr. Schutzel is super kind, personable, great bedside manner, and performed two surgeries on my hand and elbow. Six months later I am doing so well. Highly recommended!
