I purchased home from Maracay 2019 in Windemere Ranch community, at end of 2020 within one year warranty I cited concerns that needs to be taken care off. Its been now more than 3 months and Maracay is not scheduling the personal to address these concerns. I keep on following but the warranty personal just keeps on giving dates and no one shows up on appoitment time. ******* ****
I purchased a Maracay Home 8 years ago and prior to moving into the home I have had issues with the home. These are just a few of the many issues; a window placed in the wrong place, stucco issues, structure issues, plumbing issues, which have resulted in 10 of thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses. I have owned other homes by other builders and they have taken responsibility for there errors and fixed things without push back. This home closed on 10/23/2012. All the previous repairs brought to our attention were inspected and completed within the warranty period. Our customer, Mr. ***** brought to our attention a new issue regarding his hot water heater. Our Senior Customer Care Representative that knew the home and our customer, reached out to discuss the next steps. The home is out of warranty, therefore our CCR advised the customer to contact a plumber directly. This complaint was filed after that communication.
I’m the original owner, and my house was built between 2013 and 2014. We moved in on February of 2014. Maracay home warranty came out on 3 different occasions to attempt to fix the roof leak during the 2 year home warranty, they never did the job right. So after less then 7 years, I’m having to fix it out of pocket. I did call last year in late 2019 to again bring to Maracay’s attention, that again the roof leaked in the same area as the previous 3 times. Dishonest sales people who are not sure what the product actually entails. Then not standing up to what they said. This happened to us with the paint color for our home. They showed us options. We chose one. Then once the house was finally painted - it was NOTHING like the option given. Did they make it right? My Maracay Way, A customer Experience Floor Outlet I upgraded my family room to include a floor power outlet for the power recliner. The floor outlet wasn’t placed logically. It seems as though the sales rep for Maracay and the design center would rather try to sell more to simply gain more money without taking the buyers benefit into consideration. I bought a Maracay home in Oro Valley August 2016. I had problems right from the beginning. The wall was put up in 3 stages so the grout was 3 different colors. Also the wall was leaning and not connected. My ac unit is not mounted on cement but some pad that is sinking in the ground. The ac unit is sideways. My front yard is washing away because not compacted enough and improper drainage. I have grout cracking in tile and painting touch ups.
