I have been an AmeriGas customer for 30 years with very few issues. I am on a budget plan, part of which is to be automatic delivery. For the second month in a row, they skipped me for delivery. I have to call over 6 times each month to get them to deliver even after telling them I am completely/nearly out of propane, I live in SW PA, and it is below freezing outside. Every other review I have read echoes what I want to say - Amerigas has NO customer service, Dealing with them is beyond hopeless. Endless run around from "customer service" to "customer advocacy" to "emergency", even the executive offices. Promises are made, but never kept. Calls are not returned - help is NOT on the way. My business would be out of business if it were run this way. Amerigas does not deserve my business or yours. Look elsewhere.
I’m waiting for a delivery since Jan 7th When I spoke to customer service today they can’t even tell me where the trucks are and if the drivers have my ticket.They told we have 3 drivers in my county omg my county is Hugh. When we had the office here we just called them and they knew when the driver would be here and being on auto fill we never had to worry about it. Been with them 25 years never had a problem until now. I’m going to buy my 500 gallon tank and get a new provider I can’t take the chance of running out
I’ve never dealt with a business as bad as Amerigas. Never. They promised to check and fill my tank, and for the last three months have allowed my tank to run out of propane - in January, in the Colorado mountains. Their customer service has lied to me, given me false information and simply hung up on me. They have repeatedly promised to deliver propane “tomorrow” only to never show. Out of gas since the begin of December - DO NOT USE THEM !!!! Out of gas since the begin of December. It is impossible to reach anybody. If you do, it is pointless because you get the same answer all the time - "we have forwarded your concern."
Absolutely horrible delivery service. Paid in advance and still no gas for a 68 yr. Old customer. Called and can't get any help. Could take my money but can't get gas. It s been 1 and a half weeks. Told me it d be delivered today but still no gas! I will be changing companies and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
AmeriGas is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a utility or contractor of any trade, in my entire life.........and I'm not a young guy. We have not received a delivery since November 7, 2020. We are automatic fill customers, paid up to date in full. January 3rd, 2021 I got a text from AmeriGas that a delivery was imminent, that delivery never happened. Why are the state/ counties that this incompetent company services be allowed to operate. Before they will make a delivery of propane, you need to pay in advance and once your payment clears they will provide the delivery. What they do not tell you is the date provided does not mean anything. I ordered and paid for a delivery on Jan 5, 2021. Money was taken from my account on Jan 7th. Worst service ever. We called for a propane fill on 1/11/21 and were told someone would be out within 14 days. On 1/18/21 a driver came and looked at the wrong tank and decided he couldn’t access it due to 1” of snow and left. We called the emergency number And spoke to 8 different reps to explain the situation that the driver looked at the wrong tank and the driveway was perfectly clear to the correct tank.
