The cottages are wonderful, the lodge is a great place to hang out. This is our fourth year here and we love it. The InnKeepers Malcolm and Loraine have become friends to us and our group. I highly recommend the Makanda Inn.
We just spent the most wonderful weekend at the Inn for our second time this year! We were just as pleased this time with our visit as we were the first time! Malcolm and Lorraine are the most wonderful hosts and go above and beyond! We loved the Makanda Inn! It is our new favorite B&B. The room was very clean and spacious. We loved the bar downstairs and spent both of our evenings there sharing a drink and good conversation with the hosts. Breakfasts were both very delicious. We hiked the Little Grand Canyon Trail and went to a few wineries during our stay. We will be back!
we stayed at Makanda Inn this weekend for our 25th anniversary. The hosts were so friendly, breakfast was amazing, scenery absolutely beautiful and our room was spotless!! We will definitely return!!
We loved our Time at The Makanda Inn! Malcolm and Loraine were wonderful hosts and breakfast was delicious both mornings! We loved the room, the beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were so soft! We can definitely recommend a stay at The Makanda Inn!
If you like a deep sleep at night or an afternoon nap, it’s a great location for that. Quiet in the bedroom. I get insomnia and the comfy bed and high quality linens cured my insomnia for a few days. I feel completely refreshed. It’s a good price point as well. Malcolm went out of his way to get us settled in. Lorraine was courteous and took care of my coffee habits. They have great complimentary coffee. Close to all the lakes. 30 minutes to Kincaid and 15 minutes to Little Grassy. I really enjoyed it and think you will too.... read more
